Sebastopol Walks is presenting a fourth, original walk in the Laguna with the help of Laguna Foundation docents.  Chris Fontaine, director of the LF Education Program and her volunteers will tour us over new territory.  By special permit, we’re heading east and north, on a trail yet to be opened to the public.

People ask me, “Where is the Laguna and how do I get there?”  This walk will show you the way out and back.  Enjoy a fairly level 4.5 miles, out across the floating bridge [soon to be taken out and stored for the winter].  Be comfortable — with the right shoes, a sun hat, some layers, water and snack.

We’ll meet at 9 AM at The Plaza and return about noon.  If you have time, stay in town with walk leader Sarah Gurney for a great lunch, nearby. She has a place in mind…
