The American Institute of Architects just released the final report from their Sustainable Design Assessment Team (SDAT) program’s 2013 Sebastopol community evaluation.  If you attended the presentations or looked at the slideshow, the report doesn’t contain any surprises, but it does make many important points in a more organized fashion, such as:

  • Shift the focus from moving cars through town to moving people within town; end 1-way streets, etc.
  • Take advantage of large, underutilized  spaces downtown to make it more vital
  • Get the general plan revision underway

As a bonus — if you attended any of the workshops — you might spot yourself or friends in some of the photos.
